World Malbec Day 2018

Wednesday 11th April 6.30pm

8 wines | 7 dishes | $139pp

This year we’re celebrating World Malbec Day with a little friendly rivalry between the origin countries of this popular grape.

We’ve invited two of Australia's leading suppliers of the varietal - Tom Egan of JED merchants - specialising in Argentinian produced Malbec, and Gavin Lennard of Vintage and Vine Importers - specialising in French produced Malbec of the Cahors appellation.

In a blind tasting, we will compare the grape grown in the high altitudes of Argentina to grapes produced by the centuries old production methods of the French appellation.
