One of Australia’s greatest wine producers with a thirst for excellence
— Mike Bennie

We can’t wait to welcome the Great Southerns’ favourite winery, to share an entertaining evening with Frankland Estates National Sales Manager - Justin Harrison.

The wine list explores two of Australia’s favourite grapes; Riesling & Shiraz, the perfect accompaniments to a warm spring evening. We’ll conclude with a 2009 Olmo’s Reward Bordeaux blend. With only 9 bottles of this vintage left in Australia, this is a rare opportunity to try the premium vintage and an even rarer opportunity to purchase for the few that are fast enough to their order forms.

2009 Olmos Reward - All four varieties used in the blend were dry-grown on mature vines in the Isolation Ridge Vineyard at Frankland Estate. The vineyard sits on an undulating northern and eastern facing slope on ancient duplex soils of gravel and loam over a clay sub-soil. It is farmed using organic viticultural practices and this is reflected in the depth and concentration of fruit flavours. 2009 is an outstanding vintage in the Frankland River region with dry, mild conditions throughout the growing season.

The wine list has been paired with 6 dishes that hero native Australian ingredients with a unique Latin American twist.
