Five Way Cellars opened its doors in 1987 with the simple aim of introducing as many people as possible to the wonderful world of wine. Australia was really just beginning its exploration of wine in earnest at that point, after decades of sweet fortifieds and beers ruling the roost. A lot has changed since then, but the goal remains the same: to pass on the passion for wine that first consumed Ian Cook in his university days.

One of the great benefits of being an independent family business is being able to develop close relationships with producers and customers. We offer customers access to some of the most highly coveted small producers from home and abroad as part of a collection featuring value and quality as well as some real heavy hitters.
